USP Hospitales is a group committed to society and the environment. All the company's centres collaborate on a permanent basis with charities working with children and people with disabilities. Besides this, sport and its promotion is a mainstay of cooperation within the Group. The company's prestige, innovation and excellent healthcare services have made USP Hospitales into a benchmark company for top athletes in Spain. Through its corporate social policies, the company defines the commitments and actions that govern its operations and all of its hospitals. These policies can be divided into two main lines of action:

• Social Responsibility: focusing on the healthcare needs of deprived children and on integrating people with physical or intellectual disabilities into society and the workplace. To achieve this, the Group's hospitals work with a range of institutions and organisations in order to train and employ people with varying degrees of physical or intellectual disabilities in its centres. It also cooperates with several organisations devoted to providing healthcare for children with serious health problems in developing countries.

• Promotors of Sport: as sponsors or as the official medical service of professional and amateur sports organisations. In its centres, USP Hospitales has the best specialists in Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics, which is why many top athletes pass through the Group's centres to receive treatment every year.
